Stylist, designer, editor, pilot, school teacher, lover, mother, and epic swing dancer (psych!), Rachel Zoe sent her Fall 2013 collection down the runway yesterday. The show notes stated her inspiration as "rock 'n' roll underground London" and "the equestrian lifestyle". The Sex Pistols merging with fox hunting — classic combo!

It's all just OK, although I feel like I could put together most of this by stapling a dead animal onto a Gap pea coat?

DISCUSSION

I'm going to be honest. I've been holding a personal grudge against Rachel Zoe for years. She knows what she did!

But I will admit that I feel a little bit sad for her/this collection. She doesn't seem to be able to make the leap from styling to designing.

She has a style aesthetic, not a design aesthetic.

These are styled well and it ends there.
