A protester raced near Bill Cosby Monday morning as he entered a Philadelphia courthouse to begin the second incarnation of his sexual assault trial, after the first was declared a mistrial. The protester was stopped by officers from the sheriff’s department and handcuffed.
The woman’s name has not been released, according to the Associated Press. She was topless, and painted with the names of Cosby’s accusers as well as the words “Women’s Lives Matter.” Her path is reported as being towards a bank of news cameras in front of Cosby, but not his person.
Jezebel will have extensive coverage as the trial unfolds.
