Pete Davidson & Ariana Grande Don't Give a FUCK About Instagram Trolls (or Give Too Many Fucks?)

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande are still madly in love or whatever, but unlike everyone I went to camp with, they will no longer use Instagram to throw that love in everyone else’s face all the time.

According to Us Weekly, Davidson pulled a Taylor Swift and wiped his Instagram on Monday. The tabloid speculates this troubling move is not, in fact, a sign of trouble in PeAridise, but instead a response to an argument Davidson had with a troll on a post on Grande’s Instagram on Sunday. I am having trouble keeping up, but apparently Grande posted a tribute to her late grandfather, Davidson called her grandfather a “cutie,” some people got mad, and Davidson wrote, “Are you guys all insane? I was talking about how cute her grandpa is. What’s wrong with that? You guys will really look for anything to attack people. It’s sad.”

Now, Davidson’s Instagram is also sad.

Davidson did briefly return to Instagram to post a story addressing his departure from Instagram:

no there’s nothing wrong. no nothing happened. no there’s nothing cryptic about anything. i just don’t wanna be on instagram anymore. or on any social media platform. the internet is an evil place and it doesn’t make me feel good. why should i spend any time on negative energy when my real life is fucking lit. the fact that i even have to say this proves my point. i love you all and i’m sure i’ll be back at some point:)

Meanwhile, Grande disabled the comments on her Instagram, so trolls can’t shit on her boyfriend when he says nice things about her grandpa. PeAna forever/for now.

Indeed, Chipotle (now norovirus-free!) offered Cardi a briefcase full of chips and guac coupons so she alone can weather the impending avocado extinction with a personal stash. Chipotle says they were inspired to bequeath this gift by Cardi’s line about wanting “chips, guac and queso” on the Jennifer Lopez’s track “Dinero,” LOOK AT ALL THE COUPONS.

Please note that I am still waiting to hear from Dunkaroos about my hit song in third grade, “It Eats the Frosting With the Spoon.”
