Paris Hilton either was or wasn’t in cahoots with an Egyptian production company to fake a plane crash and pretend she was scared.
The horrifying video footage (screenshot above) was initially revealed as a prank. But Hilton was reportedly ready to sue the company, claiming she had no idea it was a stunt and that she was, according to TMZ’s sources, in “mortal fear for her life.”
Looks like she was shitting her pants, but that depends how much you believe in Paris Hilton’s amazing acting skills. TMZ reports that Hilton was paid millions to be a guinea pig:
TMZ has obtained a document prepared by the Egyptian production company behind the prank. Turns out Paris wasn’t their first choice. The company sent the offer to the reps of other American celebs back in March, offering them big money to participate in the prank.
The document states, “We will act as if something is going wrong and ask all passengers to jump off the plane!!! Of course everyone will panic, we’ll be having skydivers in disguise with us on board.”
The doc goes on, “We will monitor the funny reactions from our celebrity guest when they fear jumping off the plane.”

Did Paris not read the full memo? According to documents, Dubai officials were aware of the setup and armed with security. And Hilton was maybe involved and maybe just didn’t realize how far it would go.
“It was terrifying. I’ve never been in a plane that was about to go down, so it was very scary,” she told TMZ during one of their ambushes. “I think they went a little too far with their prank. That was not funny.”
