Not every parent is successful in giving their child a name that is both unique and also appropriate to say in polite company. For parents in Sonora, Mexico the process of naming their child is about to get more/less stressful (depending on perspective) now that the state has banned at least 59 one-of-a-kind names that authorities believe may lead to children being bullied.

Included in the list are names such as:

  • Facebook
  • Rambo
  • Lady Di
  • Panties
  • Martian
  • James Bond
  • Twitter
  • Burger King
  • Any form of the word "circumcision" which, while lovely to say, would probably lead to both bullying and confusion when printed on an office door.

The list will continue to grow as authorities comb the baby name registries for odd name offenders. So far, none have been as epic as the legendary 4real . (The 4, by the way, is most definitely not silent.) (Honorable mentions to Mafia No Fear and Anal.)
