Oscar de la Renta's fall collection hit the runway yesterday, and while there were intensely vivid colors, sublime embroidery and luxurious fabrics like you'd expect, there were also hints of something more dramatic: eye-hiding hats, hoods, and even a hat with a veil. There were ballgowns fit for royalty, but also a feathered flapper frock, a djellaba-esque slinky dress, and tough leather pants. Has the duchess been sneaking out of the castle to go dancing? (And does this have anything to do with the fact that John Galliano has been working in the ODLR studio?)

Good LORD, I am loving that chartreusy-lime green on the runways as of late. It's totally my favorite color.
