Question: For real... Why is it ok to hit, spank, or grab a child? ...A child who hasn't yet developed all it's ability to reason or problem solve or make all the right choices... But if you hit an adult, it's assault? I truly don't understand the logic. My parents never laid a finger on me, but my best friend growing up got picked up, violently swung over her dad's knee and spanked as hard as he could if she didn't follow the rules. It was so traumatic and awful. I can't imagine hitting an innocent child, no matter how much they got on my nerves.

I would truly be interested in hearing the opinions of other people on this.
