NeNe Leakes, who’s 48 and very rich, is ready to hang up the wigs and move on with her life after seven seasons.
“This was definitely a hard decision for me,” she told People. “Me and my husband [Gregg Leakes] have been going back and forth on it for weeks now. But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time. This is my opportunity to spread my wings and do different things.”
NeNe was a pleasure to watch in her shady prime, especially when she was butting heads with Kim and Sheree. And Cynthia and Kenya. And Kandi. And Claudia, Marlo, Phaedra and Peter.
NeNe says, “I feel a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.” She will be missed.
