'Morning Joe' Co-Hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough Got Married. Guess Who Didn't Get to Perform the Ceremony. 

“Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski got married in the rotunda of the National Archives in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, November 24, according to Vanity Fair.

It was the first time the library had ever hosted a wedding, which was performed by Rep. Elijah Cummings and not a certain former friend/current enemy of the couple who once offered to marry them at a different D.C. venue.

Brzezinski linked the timing of the wedding to concerns for America’s future:

“It makes sense now more than ever, given what we stand for as a couple, what we do for a living, and what we’re worried about as a country,” Brzezinski said.

Secrecy was of utmost importance to the pair, driving them to seal the deal when, “Washington was a post-Thanksgiving ghost town: Congress was out of session” and “the president was in Palm Beach.”

Congratulations, you two. Hope you’ve turned off your mentions for the honeymoon because there’s probably some angry tweets headed your way.
