Michelle Obama Used to Curse A Lot, Dated Patti LaBelle's Son

Another reason we all feel that deep and inexorable pull towards our #1 lady: she had a potty mouth when she was younger. FLOTUS reveals the fact in a biography slated for release on April 7.

“I was going through my cursing stage,” she said in a forthcoming biography, Michelle Obama: A Life, by Peter Slevin, excerpted by People magazine.

“I didn’t realize until my camp counselor at the end came up and said, ‘You know, you would have been best camper in your age group, but you curse so much.'”

Our girl also apparently dated Patti LaBelle’s son? WHY ARE WE JUST LEARNING THIS, THIS IS VERY BIG NEWS.

Also this from The Hill, which we did already know because you can just look at Sasha’s side-eye and tell:

[The Biography] also quotes her mother, Marian Robinson, saying that the opinionated attitude of her granddaughter, Sasha, reminded her of Michelle when she was a child.
