Monroe may have gotten the boot (or rather the laser) due to her struggles with mental illness, but she isn’t the only iconic female star who lost her place of honor on Fox’s body. She says of her former belly button piercing:

“I did it when I was 16-years-old because I was a fan of Britney Spears. The only time I tried to imitate someone else. But then I thought it was tacky so I removed it when I turned 20.”
