Well, look who we have here.

Ludacris revealed his new role on the upcoming season of Empire with a pic of himself on set with Terrence Howard. The Instagram photo shows Luda dressed as a correctional officer, standing next to Howard who was outfitted in an orange jumpsuit. Howard’s character, Lucious Lyon, was arrested during the final episode of the first season.

According to Access Hollywood, Luda’s character is a “hard-working correctional officer and veteran of the Federal Bureau of Prisons who believes that celebrity inmates should be treated no differently than regular criminals—especially Lucious Lyon.” Ludacris joins other Empire newcomers such as Marisa Tomei, Chris Rock, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Adam Rodriguez and Lenny Kravitz, reports E! Online. The rapper/actor also appeared on the 2005 film Hustle and Flow which starred Howard and Taraji P. Henson who plays the illustrious Cookie Lyons.
