Love Is Dead: Bachelorette Couple Andi and Josh Have Split Up

(As if you needed it) here is further proof that the Bachelor franchise is full of lies and shadowy secrets: Andi Dorfman and her chosen prince Josh Murray have split up, mere days after posing as a couple together on the “red carpet” of The Bachelor premiere.

In a statement released to multiple outlets, the couple said through a representative:

“After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it’s best for both of us to go our separate ways. We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what’s best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best.”

The two have been rumored to be having issues for months, mostly due to Andi’s reportedly tense relationship with Josh’s family. This clip of the couple attending the live screening of The Bachelor on Monday says it all; they wouldn’t say whether they were planning to set a date for the wedding and Andi awkwardly rubbed Josh’s back the entire time Chris Harrison interviewed them. The two of them acting like they were in love might have been even worse than Andi’s attempt to make her own dress for the event.
