One of the oldest tropes in the book is the music video shot in the desert. So hot. So fun. I assume. In David Guetta’s video for his collaboration with Nicki Minaj, Afrojack and Bebe Rexha, the French DJ/producer throws a party in the middle of the desert and as usual it looks like they’re having the time of their lives.

Women dancing in tubs, hallucinogenic infrared dance-offs, ATV bikes, a makeshift tent, sharks—so much fun. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj, a busy woman, isn’t exactly in it but joins the soiree, will.i.am style, as a hologram. She’s but a mirage. Does it give you Mad Max vibes?

In this song, by the way, Minaj happily embraces catering to her dude. The best line: “Yes, I keep the nana real sweet for your eating.”
