  • Stacy London is launching a new business, Style For Hire, that will train an army of mini-Staceys to meet the nation’s styling needs. “I look for people who have a clear understanding of body types, a kind way of discussing them with their customers, and a strong grasp of methods they can use to accent their customers’ best features and downplay others,” says London. “I look for a stylist who listens.   • Daphne Guinness doesn’t wear her crazy outfits for the benefit of the fashion crowd. “I do it for the old people who laugh at me in airports,” she says. “I like to walk in with my heels and stand in front of people on their laptops and then drop down and suddenly they look up and you’re ten inches shorter.” Guinness designed her own model of heel-less platform shoe that does, indeed, allow her to rock back on her heels whenever she feels like it. “And it gives everybody a good laugh.
