Lana Del Rey's 'Gods & Monsters' Got a Jessica Lange Remix on AHS

Lana Del Rey got the American Horror Story treatment this week and it was campy fun. Elsa, played by Jessica Lange, covered "Gods & Monsters" flawlessly, except for the part when the song summoned a two-faced carny murderer. Well, not everyone’s going to be a fan.

According to Ethel (the Bearded lady played by Kathy Bates), if any carny performs on Halloween, a long-dead fellow performer named Edward Mordrake comes back from the hollows of hell to kill them. Some (like Elsa) didn't believe Ethel's warning and decided to sing some sadcore karaoke anyway. Only problem is, Mordrake (played by that weird plastic bag-obsessed dude from American Beauty) and his little skull face are real and he returns to stalk the troupe. Eek.

Honorable AHS mention goes to the eternally exasperated maid Dora, played by Patti LaBelle, who dares the crazy Dandy to kill her in a very 'come at me bro' fashion. Patti! Patti!

And anyone else just not feeling this season at all?

Its really dissapointing cause I was super stoked about it. FREAKS, CIRCUSESCIRCUSES, HERMAPHRODITES, EVAN PETERS FINGER BANGING. Right up my alley.

But this season is just comes across as so unintentionally campy to me. Like the music is SO over the top and its seems like everyone is overacting. Its very cringeworthy to me.

Anyone else feel the same?
