Kim Cattrall’s brother, Christopher Cattrall, has been found dead, less than a week after he went missing from his home in Alberta, Canada. He was 55 years old.
Early Sunday, Cattrall, who grew up in Canada, posted to her Instagram that Chris Cattrall had been missing since Tuesday, having left his keys, phone, and wallet inside his unlocked house. “This is not like Chris. He he would never leave his unlocked home without those items nor his 7 beloved dogs,” Cattrall wrote, imploring her followers to aid in the search for him. But Sunday afternoon, Cattrall confirmed on Twitter that her brother’s body had been found.
CBC News reports that Chris Cattrall’s body was discovered on his property in rural southern Alberta. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) released the following statement: “The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death will continue by the RCMP, but preliminary information indicates that his death is not being considered suspicious.”
Police did not provide further information regarding Chris Cattrall’s cause of death, citing respect for the family.
