Kevin Smith Takes To Twitter After Being Thrown Off A Southwest Flight For Being "Too Wide For The Sky"

About an hour ago, Kevin Smith began tweeting about a very unpleasant experience he had this evening while on a Southwest flight—namely, that he was thrown off of the plane for being “way fat.”

Apparently Smith was asked to leave the flight after he’d already boarded (and been recognized by several other passengers) as he was considered a “safety risk” by the plane’s captain. This is not going to be pretty for Southwest, whose weight policy has been criticized in the past. Smith is now on a second Southwest flight (his last ever, he says) but he’s not letting this incident go by quietly. His latest tweet? “The @SouthwestAir Diet. How it works: you’re publicly shamed into a slimmer figure. Crying the weight right off has never been easier!”
