Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx Might Maybe Be Getting Married in Paris

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are allegedly preparing to wed, possibly as soon as this winter, according to sources. Holmes and Foxx have dated “for years,” though the exact timeframe for their romance is unconfirmed, as the two have carefully maintained their privacy, and steadily denied dating rumors. According to a source, this is owed to the terms of Katie’s divorce from Tom Cruise, which required that she not publicly date anyone else for five years following their split, which happened in 2012.

That slippery Scientologist, Tom, has also allegedly not been spending time with his daughter, Suri. Now that the pernicious wait period has ended, Katie apparently wants Jamie to legally adopt her daughter; she would also like a winter wedding in Paris. It seems like just yesterday Tom was so crazy in love that he was dancing on Oprah’s couch.

Fun fact: Jamie and Tom are the same height (5’9″) and starred in a film together, Collateral. Maybe this has something to do with why Katie and Foxx have kept their romance low key? Kudos to Katie, anyway. As a popular tweet circulating in my feed now says, “Don’t let your husband get in the way of you finding your true love, ladies.”
