Justin Bieber Sings 'BABABA' Instead of Actual Spanish Words to 'Despacito'

At the New York club 1 OAK on Tuesday night, Justin Bieber said, “BABABA!!!” several times into a microphone, but he wasn’t demanding his bottle be brought to him. Instead, the model citizen and all-around respectful human was indulging in an impromptu performance of his hit “Despacito,” a song whose largely Spanish lyrics Bieber at one point knew but I guess has since forgotten. Maybe to record his spot on the Luis Fonsi/Daddy Yankee track, he learned them phonetically, like a three-year-old who’s singing Beyoncé’s “I Was Here” at a child beauty pageant.
