  • Lindsay Lohan‘s spokesman flatly denied rumors the actress was blacklisted from New York fashion week — including by designer Jill Stuart, who once put Lohan in an ad campaign.   • Apparently not content with running a site like the Internet’s vast, gloriously disordered backyard sale, eBay is launching a sale page that will feature limited-duration sales from different designers. Like Gilt, or Ideeli. The Fashion Vault will host its first weekly sale in March, and the company expects to increase sale frequency quickly. eBay is also partnering with Lord & Taylor, Brooks Brothers, and others, to create an “online outlet mall.” [WWD]
  • Urban Outfitters plans to open six more stores across Europe during the rest of 2010. This is part of its plan to grow slowly into the market across the Atlantic. [BW]
  • After this latest round of collections in New York, buyers are cautiously optimistic that fall could be the season the customers come back. “People are going to need to do a lot of updating,” said the co-owner of Manhattan boutique Kirna Zabête. Many still have reservations about pricing — the sheer amount of fur that walked down the runway last week certainly gives us pause for more than just the obvious reasons. [WWD]
