Jodie Foster defended Mel Gibson once again today, telling Extra that he’s an “incredible and loyal friend” and, “He is incredibly loved by everyone that’s ever come into contact with him or works with him.”
She added, “He is truly the most loved man in the film business, so, hopefully that stands for something.” [N.Y. Mag]
Jodie also says she’s surprised Kristen Stewart, who co-starred with her in Panic Room became an actress because, “She really doesn’t have the stereotypical personality.” When asked who does, Jodie said, “Anybody who has a brain doesn’t. That tells you how smart Kristen Stewart is.” [E!]
At a screening of his film Runaway yesterday, Kanye West told the audience “there were times that I contemplated suicide” but, “I will not give up on life again.” He didn’t explain when or why he’d considered killing himself. [AP]
