Jane Fonda On Megyn Kelly's Plastic Surgery Question: 'It's a Weird Thing to Bring Up'

Latest

Oscar-winning actor, activist, and inventor of the ponytail Jane Fonda continued her Our Souls at Night press tour with a stop by Entertainment Tonight Canada on Thursday, and had an answer locked and loaded when asked about Megyn Kelly’s disastrous interview from that morning.

When asked whether or not she was “shocked” by Kelly’s question about plastic surgery, Fonda responded:

“A little bit. Given the fact that we don’t have a lot of time and Bob is right here, it’s a weird thing to bring up – whether I’ve had plastic surgery or not. I have and I’ve talked about it. Seemed like the wrong time and place to ask that question.”

Because I feel a little bad about this Megyn Kelly news outweighing the movie Fonda and Redford have been trying so dang hard to promote, here is a plot summary:

Fonda and Redford will star as Addie Moore and Louis Waters, a widow and widower who’ve lived next to each other for years. The pair have almost no relationship, but that all changes when Addie tries to make a connection with her neighbor.

Here is a snippet from the (positive) New York Times review:

With her careful diction and a bearing that conveys starchiness and sensuality in perfect, improbable balance, Ms. Fonda turns middle-class maturity into a bewitching form of charisma.

Here is the release date:

Friday, September 29, on Netflix
