Jailed Craigslist Killer Claims Responsibility for at Least 22 Murders

Latest

A woman accused of a single Craigslist murder admitted to the killing and then went on to reveal something even more horrifying: not only had she lured a man to Pennsylvania through Craigslist and killed him, she also killed “at least 22 people” in different parts of the country.

The Daily Item, a tiny paper in Sunbury, Penn. with a circulation of about 25,000, has been covering the case of 19-year-old Miranda Barbour very closely since she and her husband, 22-year-old Elytte Barbour pleaded guilty at separate court appearances in Pennsylvania to the Nov. 11 killing of 42-year-old Troy LaFerrara. Earlier this morning, the Item ran an interview with Barbour that took place in jail. During the interview, Barbour claimed responsibility not only for LaFerrara’s death, but for the murders of at least 22 other people (she also claimed that she was involved with a Satanic cult).
