I love every single word in that paragraph. Also, the late actor Paul Walker was originally cast as the lead in this movie. After he passed away, Marsden stepped into the role.
Looks like we have another contender for a movie to publicly disavow as corny, syrupy chick flick fluff that we secretly bawl our eyes out over after two bottles of pinot greeg and a rather unfortunate phone call to an old college boyfriend. (Did I ever tell you guys about the time my boyfriend found me on the couch, at 3 a.m., crying over 50 First Dates? Yeah, and I’m never going to.
The Best of Me is scheduled for release Oct. 17. So you’ll have to wait a while to get your cry on.
