Is This Heaven or Is This Hell?

I’m not sure what to do with the words “Ramona Singer channels her inner Kelis for ‘Milkshake,’” so I thought I’d share them with a wider audience to see if we could figure something out together.

Lip Sync Battle is a show that I mostly forgot about; Ramona Singer is a woman that I will never be able to erase from my memory. The combination of these two disparate pieces of cultural detritus have formed to make a masterwork that I will likely see when I close my eyes at night.

Look at Ramona, doing a dance in a battle that she will probably lose to the shiny and taut Melissa Gorga. I admire her spirit and the fact that she is able to somehow exercise light restraint. Melissa Gorga attempted a singing career in the studio in her basement where she hid from her horned-up husband. Remember that?

I bet she’ll win!!! That’s okay. Ramona tried and that, my friends, is half the (lip sync) battle.
