This week the UN gave Iran a four-year seat on its Commission on the Status of Women. But some activists criticize the decision, saying "Iran's discriminatory laws demonstrate that the Islamic Republic does not believe in gender equality." [FOX News]
Ugh, I decided to read the comments of the article and came across this:
"I WONDER WHO IS THE BIGGEST CROOK THE VILE OBAMA OR THE PRES. OF IRAN?????TOUGH CALL——————- "
Really? Are we really going to compare the two? Because, yaknow, they're really on the same level, so it's sooo appropriate for us to make them comparable.
And no, good sir (or ma'am), it isn't a tough call.
Then I came across this comment which I think is a very good question:
"Why is Iran so afraid of their women?"
Because they know that the women are a threat. That's my answer.
