If you already know the sky is blue and the grass is green then you may want to skip this story about Two Broke Girls’ Kat Dennings and her shocking revelation to Conan O’Brien about her past. In case you didn’t already guess, Dennings was a “goth girl” when she was little.

“How gothy were you?” asked the always reliably deadpan O’Brien.

“I was kind of obsessed with the Addams Family,” explained Dennings. “I went through a phase where I thought I was Wednesday Addams.”

“That’s sad,” said O’Brien.

He then veered into typical “OMG GOTH = SCARY FOR PARENTS BECAUSE THEY EAT BABIES AND KILL FOR SATAN” territory but seriously I doubt anyone is buying it. Especially not if you see this picture Dennings shared of her “Goth phase:”
