Are you thinking about giving up on something? Well, consider these bears. Consider this one bear. The bear who had a dream. A dream of sitting in a hammock. Because bears don’t get to “do that.”
Watch as the determined bear climbs through the strings and tries to lay down but ah...AH...ah...eh...ohhh, she can’t quite get her equilibrium. She tumbles to the ground but remains determined to conquer this ridiculous manmade netting made for lounging in tropical weather.
“I GOTTA GET IN THIS THING!” she screams. “WHATEVER IT IS!”
Watch around the 54-second mark when mama bear tells Mira (that’s her name), “Stop messing around with them damn hammocks. Shit.” Mira screeches back, “I wanna be IndePENDINT!”

“Then get a job!” mama bear screams back.
In the end, the other small bear—her dumb brother—easily conquers the hammock, proving patriarchy. Mira walks away, muttering, “Fuck hammocks anyway.”
