HBO Programming Chief Says Curb Your Enthusiasm Will Resume 'When David Feels Ready'

Entertainment

A tenth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm was promised to us in December, then nothing. What gives?

All in good time! Entertainment Weekly reported on Wednesday that HBO programming president Casey Bloys said that the show, whose latest season was nominated for Emmy awards in the Best Comedy and Best Actor categories, shall resume “when [Larry] David feels ready”

Bloys, from an unidentified location in Beverly Hills, continued, “He’s working on the season. It will return when he feels ready and tells us how it will come back.”

There was a five-year lag between seasons eight and nine, but this history is unlikely to repeat itself. A few weeks ago, the actor J.B. Smoove, who plays Leon Black on the show, told The Hollywood Reporter, “Sometime this year we’ll be going back to work. I cannot wait.”
