Gowns, Kilts and All the Nicki Minaj Outfits at the 2014 MTV EMAs

Nicki Minaj hosted the 2014 MTV European Music Awards and, more importantly, treated the stage like her personal walk-in closet. I especially liked the country club Barb vibe of the green-collar Alexander Wang dress. See the rest of the attendees below.

Good to know Ariana Grande is keeping the “Who, me? :)” look going. Her performance outfit was inspired by Jane Jetson.

Alessandra Ambrosio and Vicki Pattison both dressed for the Oscars, while Jess Glynne (middle) remained calm and casual… glam… cas-glam… glathletic in drop-crotch pants.

Charli XCX went from being a raver First Lady on the red carpet to fur and vinyl after the show. Talk about the shoes.

Some might say Nicki is pooping fabric. I say it’s a high drama, peak cleavage moment.

Though this was the most underwhelming of Nicki’s outfits, that last pose is straight from the book of Jay Alexander.

Afrojack wore all black and a Rock/Smize expression. I’d like to borrow Nick Cannon’s shoes.

Alesha Dixon pulls off an outfit that would look difficult on someone else, and Jourdan Dunn will never not look great. Tallia Storm‘s shiny suit and tie isn’t bad, but the hair and shoes ruin it for me.

David Hasselhoff and Redfoo donned kilts (the show was held in Glasgow), and don’t you wish Nick Jonas did, too? Come on, Nick, do better.

Alicia Keys is beaming, but not sure about the neck decoration on this.

Bibi Zhou, Emeli Sande and Skylar Grey are Team Ehhhhh. Skylar, what are you doing?
