GOP Congressman Says Obama Is Behaving Like His High School Girlfriend

Latest

SO, uh, his high school girlfriend was a completely reasonable person who just wanted to work together amicably to solve some shit and I do mean SHIT? Cool, cool.

According to Huff Post:

Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.) said Wednesday that President Barack Obama reminded him of a girlfriend he had in high school after the president called the House speaker to reiterate that he would not negotiate over budget issues until House Republicans pass a bill funding the government and increasing the debt ceiling.
“He called John Boehner (R-Ohio) yesterday to tell him he wasn’t negotiating with him,” Mulvaney told conservative news outlet Newsmax. “I had a girlfriend call me in high school and tell me that she was giving me the silent treatment; that’s sort of what it sounded like.”

Yes, that’s exactly the same situation. The president trying to throw you a lifeline by attempting to negotiate a short term deal and allowing the GOP to somewhat save face is almost exactly the same. Plus, if we want to talk immature behavior, Mulvaney and crew are acting like a bunch of spoiled, self-centered brats. Actually, yeah. This is totally like high school.
