The beloved (?) Giuliana Rancic is ready to move on from her longtime hosting gig at E! News.
It’s only half a goodbye, though—we’ll still see her on E!’s Fashion Police and awkward awards show red carpets. Rancic expressed her gratitude to the network in a statement:
“For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show. At the same time … this is such a thrilling time for me, and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life.”
Rancic has battled controversy all year at Fashion Police, but with Melissa Rivers taking over this August, the show should be somewhat stabilized.
E! general manager Adam Stotsky says of Rancic’s departure:
“During her time here, Giuliana played an instrumental role in building E! News into a global entertainment news powerhouse and… we will miss seeing her on set every day.”
The E! News baton will now be passed to Terrence J.
