Get You a Man Who Manufactures A Line of Drinks Just For You

In a world of problematic celebrity husbands, be Tom Holland, who is once again publicly proving his undying love for his fellow unproblematic fiancée (maybe wife?) Zendaya.

Following his sobriety journey, Holland has joined the small club of celebrities-turned non-alcoholic beer moguls. (Other members of the club include George Clooney, Charlie Sheen, and John Mulaney.) In 2024, Holland launched his non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero, but given that he is head-over-So Kate Louboutin-heels in love, he is now manufacturing Zendaya her very own line of non-alcoholic drinks. What’s your man’s excuse?

“Z has never drank. She’s never been a drinker, which means she never found the taste for beer,” Holland told Amy Poehler on Tuesday’s episode of the Good Hang Podcast. “So she’s incredibly proud of Bero, but there’s a missing link of, she doesn’t enjoy the stuff I’m trying to sell.” Thus was born the idea of tropical-flavored non-alcoholic summer shandies for Zendaya.

When speaking to Forbes, Holland said, “The idea behind the shandies was to create something authentic at the company that Z could enjoy.” And you know what? I don’t care if all this is just for press. They are cute. So let’s bask in the love of this perfectly unproblematic Hollywood couple. Whoever did their PR knew I would eat (or drink?) this up.

Also on Tuesday, GQ released their cover story with Holland and his Odyssey castmates Robert Pattinson and Matt Damon, in which Holland opened up more about the reason behind pursuing sobriety: “I wouldn’t necessarily describe [the drinking] as wild, and more at times lonely,” he told the outlet. “I had my times, but I wasn’t necessarily the nightclub-going person as much as I could sit at home in my hotel room and finish a minibar and go to work the next day.”

“I quit drinking because I had a problem,” he also told Poehler, “and I just couldn’t put it down. It was affecting my professional life. It was affecting my personal life, and my health.” And of course, all of these interviews are filled with more words of affirmation for his costar/maybe wife Zendaya, adding on Good Hang that, “I couldn’t imagine doing what I do without her.” I’ll crack a Bero to that.

Yes, he is trying to boost sales for his company, but if you still don’t believe he worships the ground Zendaya walks on, how do you explain the letter ‘Z’ embroidered on the butt of all his pants? I rest my case.
