The Justice Department has decided that The Violence Against Women Act will now cover gay and lesbian relationships. A Human Rights Campaign representative called it "a step towards equality and recognizing that our relationships exist." [NYT]
Don't mean to be too picky, but does everyone really need to make a differentiation between gay people and lesbians? Its not like every time women are mentioned, they need to be treated like a separate species.. And, believe it or not, but gay women are... gay.
