Dominos Dreams Of Selling Mediocre Pizza On The Moon

Apparently Dominos executives in Japan have a lot of time on their hands, because they’ve come up with an elaborate plan for opening a store on the moon. After consulting with a construction firm, they determined that transporting 70 tons of concrete, along with pizza making equipment, will cost $22 billion. They were able to keep the cost so reasonable by devising a plan to use the moon’s mineral deposits to construct the two-story domed building. A company spokesman said they aren’t sure when the restaurant will open, but they’re very confident that soon there will be “many people living on the moon, astronauts who are working there and, in the future, citizens of the moon,” — and naturally, they’ll all be clamoring for a pizza that’s famous for tasting slightly less like cardboard than it used to.
