Aspiring #sponconner Louise Linton may have tagged #Valentino and #TomFord on her now-notoriously nouveau riche Instagram post, but those storied designers would like you to know that they did not give her these items. She bought them herself, off the rack. Nordstrom Rack, probably.

Representatives for Valentino have confirmed to WWD that “Louise Linton did not receive any gifted merchandise, compensation or loans from Valentino.” WWD also dropped this lil’ read:

The actress, whose most high-profile role to date is a 2007 appearance on “CSI: NY,” is also not affiliated in any way with and has received no free merchandise from Tom Ford, a brand she also mentioned in her post.

Alas, for the time being, this peroxide princess is gonna have to try a little harder to get those ill Instagram ad dollars. Maybe Karen Pence would give her money to advertise Towel Charms? It’s a job that comes with a lot of self-persecution and prestige, two things she seems to love.

She’s only been married to Mnuchin for two months and she’s laying claim to how much “we’ve” paid in taxes. Who are “we”? She and Mnuchin won’t even be filing a joint tax return for nearly a year (or more if they file an extension).

As for her name-checking every luxury brand she’s wearing, there’s nothing more definitively nouveau. It’s also really imprudent. If she becomes too embarrassing, I’m sure she’s completely disposable/replaceable to a guy like him.
