Dentist Contradicts Oksana's Story, Says Photo Of Her Beaten Face Was Altered

This morning, Radar posted a photo which was purportedly taken hours after Mel Gibson punched Oksana Grigorieva in the mouth. However, her dentist says the photo has been doctored, casting doubt onto her abuse claims.
The photo at the link shows a woman with damage to her teeth, but no visible bruises. Dentist Ross Shelden says that while the teeth are hers, “The nose is not hers. The lips are not right. It’s not a true and accurate picture. It has definitely been altered.” [Radar, TMZ]
Oksana says she was punched in the mouth, but “sources familiar with Dr. Ross Shelden’s medical charts” say he found no evidence of this. He believes she was struck in the left temple, then bit down so hard she knocked out two veneers. He saw a bruise on her head, but it’s not visible in the photos, possibly because she covered it up with hair and makeup. [TMZ]
Law enforcement sources who have seen photos and videos of Oksana taken after the incident says there’s “no evidence of external or internal damage.” [TMZ]
At a hearing yesterday, the judge in the Mel/Oksana custody case was swayed by his ex-wife Robyn‘s declaration that he never abused her. He ruled that Mel poses no threat to their daughter Lucia and allowed him to visit her during the day, with one overnight visit per week. [TMZ]
