Demi Lovato Is Out of the Hospital and Checked Into Rehab

After suffering an overdose last month resulting in almost two weeks of hospitalization, Demi Lovato has checked into rehab, according to TMZ. Lovato was reportedly discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Saturday evening and taken to a facility “outside California” by way of a private plane.

On Sunday night, Lovato shared her first public statement since the July 24 overdose on Instagram, writing: “I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet.”
