Deep Cuts: Accept That It's Going to Be Very Cold Very Soon

In Depth

Welcome back to Deep Cuts. I’m taking over for Jane this week. This is my first Deep Cuts, so be kind. Or don’t. There is a 100% chance I’ll live either way.

ASOS Club L Plus Elfie Holidays Sweater, $36 (was $72) It dipped into the low 50s last night in Los Angeles and I recently booked a December trip to New York, so I’m thinking a lot about cold weather. You’re definitely going to need a dumb holiday sweater at some point between now and December. They have a bunch of options, so run wild.

Nike Element Half-Zip, $39.97 (was $65) You’re not going to quit exercising just because it’s cold right? Eh, you might. This also works as a layering piece.

Sephora Collection Pro Kabuki Brush, #43, $25 (was $36) I hear that staying bronzed year-round is an important thing for some people. I imagine this can help with that.

Zara Pompom Knit Hat, $5.99 I’ve been watching a lot of Ladies of London and those ladies have the chicest, most amazing winter wardrobes I’ve ever seen. They also wear hats that look like this a lot. I’m cheating a bit because I don’t know what this was marked down from, but it’s in the “special prices” section and, hello, it’s six bucks.

West Elm Warmest Throw – Arrow Jacquard, $19 (was $39) Throws are great! You can always use a throw! Plus, the warmest throw? I’m sold.

Carole Hochman Designs Cotton Pajamas, $41.40 (was $69) Personally, I’m not a huge fan of having my arms covered while sleeping so these are a beautiful compromise.

Crock-Pot SCCPVP400-S 4-Qt. Smart-Pot Slow Cooker, $29.99 (was $49.99) Slow cookers have only recently come into my life and I have no clue how I ever functioned without one. This obviously has little to do with beauty or fashion, but you can roast meats all winter long! Don’t be mad, Jane.

JCrew Metallic Gold Scoopback One-Piece Swimsuit, $34.99 (was $118) If you are a size six or ten please buy this swimsuit immediately and then, ideally, book a flight to some beach locale.

Charles David ‘Katerina’ Over the Knee Boot, $209.98 (was $350) OH MY GOD ALL I WANT IN THIS WORLD RIGHT NOW ARE A PAIR OF OVER THE KNEE BOOTS BUT BUYING THEM WHILE I LIVE IN LOS ANGELES IS A LEVEL OF IMPRACTICALITY THAT EVEN I CAN’T JUSTIFY SO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE BUY THESE AND LIVE A LIFE OF UNCOMFORTABLE SEXINESS FOR ME PLEASE?
