Last night at the Teen Choice Awards, the fashion choices varied greatly: There was a little bit of leather, a lot of lace, and some truly unfortunate sequins. Seriously, some of what you're about to see is hideous.

Yeesh. Not a fan of this stone-encrusted ice princess mullet dress on J-Woww. Hair is nice, though.

This event saw lots of lace. In a truly hideous mess of a dress: Ashley Benson. It's like she went swimming in a black retro bikini and then nearly drowned while caught in a net of sequin starfish. The waist is so terribly bunchy and the fabric looks cheap. Awful.

Sunny, lemony yellow on Percy Jackson's Leven Rambin and Teen Wolf's Holland Roden. Roden's dress is Notte by Marchesa and looks absolutely fab with that lip color.

The evening was chock-full of prints. Bella Thorne and Lily Collins both wore a palm print, and since I loathe a mullet dress, I prefer the version on Thorne. RCFA informs us this print is by Fausto Puglisi.

Crystal Reed of Teen Wolf went for head-to-toe print, some kind of deconstructed houndstooth, and looked very chic. (The emsemble is CH Carolina Herrera.)

Softer, gentler prints for Twisted's Maddie Hasson and Baby Daddy's Chelsea Kane. If you're thinking Hasson's dress looks like a cute little 1975 diner waitress uniform, that's because it's Marc Jacobs.

A couple of whimsical prints: Janel Parrish is feeling butterflies; Kerry Washington's lips are sealed. They both look gorgeous.

DISCUSSION

I'm always happy to see when a lot of the girls have really pale skin. It gives me hope that the tanning craze may be on its way out.

(Not sure how to word this, but please understand I mean nothing racist about this- as someone who has insanely pasty skin myself, I like looking for examples of other fair-skinned people)
