Countess LuAnn's New Music Video Is Terribly Subtle

Latest

One year after she first sang her second dance single live on Watch What Happens, Countess LuAnn finally got around to actually recording “Chic, C’est la Vie,” and the video for it dropped today. It features Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon—who play the Countess’ cohorts, helping her sip champagne in the back of limos, sit poolside in plush bathrobes, and gamble at a casino—but other NYC Housewives get a shout out in the song, including Alex’s husband Simon. Originally described as “spoken word over a Saint-Tropez beat,” the finished product actually sounds an awful lot like Ke$ha, which is decidedly not classy.
