The people behind this billboard in Colorado Springs, CO seem to think that the best way to get folks to attend the U.S. Women's Open is with a photo of professional golfer Paula Creamer wearing pink and looking pretty –-two things she's more than allowed to do, but certainly not the only things she is able to do.

And those qualities certainly shouldn't be marketed as the "main attraction" of a championship sports event.

She wears pink, many women do and it doesn't make them dumb or exploited. It makes them women who wear pink. Period.

Also, she looks pretty? She isn't dolled up or styled in a way that is not related to golf. She is portrayed in a movement that is easily recognized as a golf swing.

She is a prominent figure in golf and also happens to come from California. Enough reasons to give her the spot on a billboard.
