Charlie Hunnam and His Boner Drop Out of Fifty Shades of Grey

Perhaps it was all just too erotic for him?!

Earlier today, Universal Pictures and Focus Features announced that Charlie Hunnam will no longer play Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey. Does that make you fifty shades of sad? Or fifty shades of excited for who might step in and save the sexy day? Or fifty shades of I don’t give a shit? Which shade is it?

“The filmmakers of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey,” the studio said in a statement.

Now it’s time to speculate who will star opposite Dakota Johnson and Jennifer Ehle in the August 1, 2014 release. And no, Hollywood, I’m still not interested.
