Carly Rae Jepsen Is the Worst So You Think You Can Dance Judge Ever

Carly Rae Jepsen doesn’t know anything about dance. In most cases, there’s nothing wrong with that. Plenty of us don’t know about dance and we get along just fine in life. (When I say “us,” I’m not referring to myself because this post is actually being ghost written by Mikhail Baryshnikov, the famous Russian dancer. Hello to all my fans!)

However, yesterday, Jepsen was a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance, a TV show where a basic knowledge of dance is a very important — if not the most important — thing a guest judge can possess. Sadly, when it came time to give critique, all Carly Rae could offer were compliments on the contestants’ clothes and ability to be “inspiring.”

Look, kid. This isn’t So You Think You Can Dance Canada. South of the border, you’re going to need to give a little bit more than that. (Heehee, I kid! So few people know that I, Mikhail Baryshnikov, have a very biting sense of humor! Beware! You never know when you’ll be pranked by Misha!)

After watching that, why not check out last night’s performance featuring Fik-Shun and Amy dressed as hobos and help me decide whether it’s beautiful or very offensive. Or both.
