SHE’S BAAACK!
After releasing the best album of 2015 and then the best EP of b-sides last year, Carly Rae Jepsen has an exuberant new song, titled “Cut to the Feeling,” out.
It’s actually a song that originally was part of the allegedly 250 song batch she wrote for E·MO·TION and E·MO·TION: Side B, but it ended up in the French Canadian movie Ballerina that Jepsen also voiced a character in.
Do I care that it is a song about playing with angels from a children’s movie and listening and loving it as an adult woman? No, no I do not care. CRJ is for everyone. And frankly the song is too good to have been buried in the movie! How do we get Trolls’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” and Canadians get this?
