The Grammys, the best awards show because it is made up almost entirely of musical performances, keeps rolling out their performers list for January 28.
The Recording Academy announced that Cardi B and Bruno Mars, both nominated for several awards this year, will perform their remix for Mars’ “Finesse.” Alessia Cara, Khalid and Logic are also going to perform their song “1-800-273-8255" with suicide attempt and loss survivors on stage.
There’s also going to be a tribute to Broadway composers Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lenoard Bernstein, performed by Patti LuPone and Ben Platt. And the Academy has already announced that Lady Gaga, Kesha, SZA, Pink, Childish Gambino, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Little Big Town will be taking the stage to perform as well.
I just pray that the Grammys does not make any of these performers team up for those weird medleys the show has done in the past. I’m just imagining watching SZA perform with Little Big Town and already groaning.
