Brad Pitt Gets Beat Up By a Pair of Flip Flops

Someone forgot to tell Brad Pitt about the dangers of wearing flip flops. The actor was seen looking like he got into a bar fight during his appearance at Saturday’s 3rd annual Light Up the Blues Concert, an event that benefits autism. The gnarly bruise was actually caused by his choice of footwear. Though a popular choice for time spent at the beach or a normal day in L.A., there’s a drawback to wearing flip flops, as they can cause arch problems and heel pain, due to the lack of support.

Pitt saw the dark side of flip flops himself. In an official statement to People, he said:

“This is what happens when you try to run up steps in the dark, with your arms full, wearing flip flops.”

That clumsy oaf! You know—The Purple One aka Prince, is famously known for wearing “Frankenflops,” which are an elevated version of Brad’s simple thong sandals. Maybe he can teach him a thing or two about living gracefully in chanclas.
