Bobby Brown Performs, Forgets Lyrics, While Bobbi Kristina in Hospice

Bobby Brown performed a concert at Wolf Creek Amphitheater in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 4 while his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, has been in a nearby hospice. Brown left the stage frequently and also messed up on song lyrics during the act. “Y’all got me forgetting shit. I am in a different zone right now, he told the audience, but didn’t mention anything about Bobbi Kristina.

The crowd showed support, cheering, “We understand!” reports People. Brown left the stage several times to hug his brother, but still finished the 30-minute show. “If I go somewhere else, please join me on the tour because it’s gonna be fun. This is my happy place,” he said to the crowd. The performance was part of the Affordable Old School Concert Series and featured other musical artists from the ‘90s including Mint Condition, Juvenile and Tweet. Bobbi Kristina entered hospice care two weeks ago.
