Bebe Rexha Is Fuckin' Busy!!!!

In case you missed it, there was some unexpected Drag Race-related drama over the Fourth of July holiday. Bebe Rexha, the less-than-memorable singer-songwriter behind some of pop music’s most memorable hits, recently performed at Logo’s Trailblazers Honors ceremony. She tweeted about the performance on Tuesday—more specifically, the “COLD af” greeting she received from some of the Drag Race queens hanging backstage.

“I met some of the contestants from ru Pauls [sic] drag race and I wasn’t in Hair and Makeup so they didn’t know it was me and they were COLD af,” said Rexha, referring to Season 10 finalists Aquaria, Kameron Michaels, and O’Haras Asia and Eureka. “They just were cold and didn’t talk to anyone like they were the shit. And they seemed exhausted, but try my schedule and let’s talk ladies.”

That’s wild! Bebe must be so busy! I mean, why else would she go out of her way to imply that four of America’s most in-demand drag queens, three weeks deep into Pride Month gigs, don’t know the meaning of the word “busy” unless she was absolutely 100% correct in her estimation of her schedule and how it compares to those of four strangers she’s never met?

It sounds like Bebe Rexha’s doing a lot, some might even say too much, and it’s not the first time I’ve been made aware of just how fuckin’ busy she is. I reached out to her publicist back in May to see if she’d be interested in some kind of interview only to find out that “unfortunately Bebe isn’t available.” Classic Bebe apparently! In the interest of learning more about what her grueling schedule actually entails, I reached out to Rexha’s publicist again, along with representatives for each of the four Drag Race queens she mentioned in her tweets, some of which have since been deleted. I’ll update if I hear anything back, ladies.
